Indianapolis…Rey Mena, Vice President of Emmis Interactive, will be presenting at BMO Capital Market’s eMerging Music Summit on Thursday, Aug. 10 at 1:45 p.m. Eastern.
The conference offers attendees the chance to hear from leading groups in the music and audio industries.
While other radio companies have focused on streaming media as their sole internet strategy, Mena will present the Emmis Interactive approach. Unique in the radio industry and the fastest growing segment of Emmis’ business, Emmis Interactive doesn’t just focus on the delivery of music – it leverages technology and relationships in a multi-point approach that delivers a fuller, richer music experience for the listener. A few examples of this approach can be seen in the recent integration of the iTunes Music Store’s into the company’s radio station website (www.hot97.com/itms) and the recent launch of the SMS/ text messaging deal with Vibes Media.
Other presenters at the conference include Napster, RealNetworks and Clear Channel. An audio webcast of the conference will be available on the Emmis website, www.emmis.com.
