Indianapolis…Marian Conicella, Vice President, Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of Philadelphia magazine and a 30-year veteran of MetroCorp, has been named Vice President of National Sales for Emmis Publishing.
Conicella’s appointment will allow the current Group Publisher/VP National Sales, Amy Saralegui, to re-focus exclusively on her duties as Publisher of Texas Monthly, one of the nation’s premiere magazines. Together, these moves are designed to accelerate the revenue resurgence Emmis Publishing has enjoyed over the past two years.

In addition to Texas Monthly, Emmis Publishing titles include Los Angeles, Atlanta, Orange County, Indianapolis Monthly and Cincinnati magazines.
Conicella most recently introduced the concept of integrated marketing solutions to advertisers in the Philadelphia region and played a lead role on the executive launch team of phillymag.com, the Philadelphia magazine digital platform.
A Temple University graduate, Conicella is a prominent member of the City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA), serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Conicella first day with Emmis will be on Monday, January 27. She will work out of Emmis’ New York office.
